Florida Barber Institute welcomes students who wish to pursue a Post-Secondary-level program of study. The office of admissions works hard to make the admissions process, an easy one. Florida Barber Institute only admits students who meet the following requirements:

  2. Must be 16 years of age, this is in line with the Florida State Board of Cosmetology & Barber Board.

  3. Have a high school diploma or G.E.D certificate or complete a Florida Barber Institute basic skills   test (administered by a school official).

  4. State issued ID/Driver's License or Passport

Welcome to the exciting world of barber & cosmetology! At Florida Barber Institute, you will obtain training in the beauty field of your choice. With us, you will enter a learning experience that will give you the opportunity to be successful in the beauty industry. Florida Barber Institute will prepare you to experience those opportunities.

 

You will learn to various types of hair textures and skin In addition, you will obtain the essential skills for salon management. With these acquired skills, you will be in control of your future. Professional barbers & cosmetologists play an important role in society by helping their clients look and feel good about themselves.

 

Whether you are looking to begin a career in barbering, cosmetology or just need to brush up on the basics, our program will provide the fundamental skills you need to reach your professional goals. Our program offers personalized attention and the director is always available for assistance. This program of instruction qualifies each student to take and pass the Florida State Board of Licensing Examination. 

 Students Schedule

While our schedules may vary based on program with some flexibility in our schedules, there could be a class schedule that fits your current routine. Many of our programs have full-time or part-time options, and we are happy to work with you to see how to fit beauty school into your schedule. It’s possible, to complete our programs in as little as 5 months or 9 months.
